Our Story

Air Force Mechanical Corp. was founded in 1987 by Kevin Kossi on a single principle: the quality of the work is the only thing that matters. Not company size. Not project volume. Only the standard, applied to every system.

In 2000, Witold “Vitek” Liszewski joined the company as a partner, expanding Air Force Mechanical’s installation capabilities and technical operations. Together, they built a firm known for precision workmanship, reliability, and long-term client relationships.

Our client base has been built entirely through referral — one successful project leading to the next.

Since day one, Air Force Mechanical has installed and maintained precision climate control systems for some of New York City’s most demanding environments — including premier galleries, Chelsea Piers, luxury residences, ice rinks, and mission-critical commercial facilities. In these environments, climate control is not a convenience; it is essential to operational performance, environmental stability, and long-term system reliability. Temperature, humidity, airflow, and system operation are carefully monitored, maintained, and coordinated to meet each facility’s operational requirements.

Founders

In 38 years, our quality of work has been the only introduction Air Force Mechanical has ever needed. That begins with the two people who built it.
